Crockett James Ward was born in Houston, TX, and raised in a small town named Loyd Star, MS. Crockett holds his Master of Fine Arts in Theatre Performance from The University of Southern Mississippi. Having appeared on stages for companies such as Hampstead Stage Company, The National Theatre for Children, Cedar Point, Southern Arena Theatre, Red Raven Repertory Theatre, Kansas Renaissance Faire, Connecticut Renaissance Festival, and Sterling Renaissance Festival, Crockett remains active in the nomadic lifestyle. Some favorite roles include Scrooge (A Christmas Carol), Charlotte von Mahlsdorf (I Am My Own Wife), Highwayman (The Wyldewood Players), Peer Gynt (Peer Gynt), A Doll's House (Thorvald), and Calisto (Tony Kushner).
He is currently serving the community in Pikeville, Kentucky, as the Director of Education & Outreach at The Appalachian Center for the Arts.
